The Employee Relations Manager partners closely with leaders at all levels of the organization to mitigate risk, reduce exposure and enable decisions that are aligned with strategic initiatives, company values, mission, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
The Manager of Employee Relations is also responsible for designing, enhancing, and implementing Employee Relations programs, processes and policies.
Your Duties And Responsibilities as an Employee Relations Manager
- Interprets and applies understanding of company policies and practices, employment law, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or clarification for Employee Relations inquiries.
- Recognizes patterns and anticipates employee-related issues; Develops, recommends and initiates appropriate steps for resolution in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Develop, implement, update and maintain HR policies current and relevant, aligned with industry best practices.
- Proactively and thoroughly conducts timely workplace investigations resulting from employee complaints and/or allegations of misconduct, following a consistent methodology, and supported by tracking mechanisms.
- Partners closely with Spirit’s management team and HR Business Partners on ER-related concerns including employee discipline, underperformance, and other related matters.
