The HR Compliance Specialist coordinates pre-employment activities and maintains Team Member records to ensure compliance with Spirit Airlines policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be a well-organized team player, who can complete tasks with attention to detail and minimal errors.

Your Duties And Responsibilities as a Specialist

  • Support and execute the I9 verification system and process; maintain process document; the key point of contact and knowledge base for I9 process and visa requirements; drive process improvements across HR teams.
  • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks, and other related duties as assigned.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities for candidates which include, but are not limited to, fingerprinting criminal background checks, and drug testing.
  • Participate in monthly HR Compliance recruiting and training events, which may require travel throughout the US.
  • Process Team Member name changes.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.

Who Can Apply For This Position 

  • Be able to engage all candidates with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
  • Domestic & International travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • Basic Microsoft Office Skills, including but not limited to scheduling outlook meetings, responding to candidate inquiries via email, and entering candidate data into an excel tracker.
