Your Duties And Responsibilities as an Inflight Base Coordinator

  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
  • Process all loaner uniforms and luggage (monitor and order inventory, distribute, and notify appropriately)
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
  • Maintain employee recognition activities/events
  • Prepare agendas and make arrangements for Leadership, such as coordinating catering luncheons for the committee, board, and other meetings
  • Read and prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
  • Maintain inventory and distribution of all loaner manuals (IEFB) and ensure all are in compliance and up to date
  • Process, order, distribute, and notify F/As regarding expired IDs
  • Coordinate reservation passes, and hotel accommodations for Staff Members or visitors
  • Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail or other materials and answer routine letters
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders

Who Can Apply For This Position 

  • Knowledge of the administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as processing words, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing customer and personal services which may include Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of Customer Satisfaction
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
  • Office administration and general office duties
  • Payroll and timekeeping
  • Scheduling and reporting
  • Must be able to obtain a SIDA (Secured Identification Display Area) badge and meet all local airport requirements
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to move/transport up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis
  • Ability to work at elevated heights
