Your Duties And Responsibilities as an Aeronautical Services Compliance Lead

  • Evaluate and respond to CAA/EASA/FAA Notices of Proposed Rulemaking in areas that affect Virgin Atlantic operations, working with partners cross-functionally across many areas of the business to help shape the outcome of final, published regulations
  • In close partnership with the Corporate Security and Navigation Services teams, conduct a continual review of UK DfT/CAA and FAA/DoT airspace overflight restrictions
  • Maintain all relevant aircraft approval documentation on national authorities’ online databases (e.g., EASA TCO and environmental databases)
  • Conduct seasonal and ad-hoc reviews of the commercial flying Programme, to ensure the necessary flight approvals and overflight permissions are acquired to support the delivery of the intended airline flying schedule
  • Coordinate distribution of all UK CAA safety and information notices to all relevant departments and collate responses to the regulator
